Programme of Events for 2013

All Demonstrations take place in the Grain Loft, from 7pm until around 10pm, doors open from 6pm.

All Hands-on sessions take place in the Grain Loft, from 6pm until 9’ish.

All day events are highlighted thus.

Mark Raby is now running our "Club Shop" and can supply anything you require for woodturning - tools, abrasives, finishes etc.  He will be at the club on the nights indicated below, but on other nights a smaller range of his essential supplies will still be available.

14 March Club AGM Annual General Meeting - 7:00 pm start - discussion about the Club's activities over the past year and selection of our charity to sponsor for the next 12 months.
There will also be a "Bring & Buy" sale during the evening. So all those bits and pieces you've been meaning to sell - bring them along and someone will be grateful.

17 November SWC Christmas Fair   Our fourth Christmas Fair will be held at Wood Lane Countryside Centre. This will be an 'all day' event, where we will be demonstrating woodturning using two lathes. There will also be a large range of woodturning items for sale, all made by members of our club. There will be tea/coffee available. Entry will be £1 and the doors will open at 11:00.
